What does healing look like without ableism? What kinds of ableism have even healers who consider ourselves rooted in social justice internalized ? This workshop is a space for people involved in healing work to think critically about how we integrate disability justice into our work and lives. We will take apart ideas of “cure” as the end goal, learn from sick and disabled medical organizing and advocacy, and dream up ways to get rid of ableism in our practices.
