The Art and Practice of Disability Justice

This workshop is a crash course into disability justice- a movement building framework created by sick and disabled Black and brown queer people. In this workshop we’ll talk about what disability looks like in Black and brown communities, what work the disability rights movement has done and what it’s left behind, and how we can conspired to make cross- accessible movements for liberation where disabled people are leaders. We will share concrete tools for creating access in actions, organizing and cultural spaces and create space to see the disability stories in all our communities.
